Hi.
Lighttech interactive released a new game called Bop It Ultimate. I am downloading the game at the moment so i can't make any commends but this is what it says at their website.
we're very proud to anounce the release of Bop It Ultimate ; Lighttech Interactive's first game to support 1 on 1 internet play competition!
this game was created to try and simulate a reall-time game played on the Bop It handheld toy by Hasbro, played eather in single player or in one on one play across the net against a friend!
and of course, you will find in the game things of our own tuch, so it sertainly won't feall like another re-make of the already existing game.
You can get it at www.lighttechinteractive.com.

I've just downloaded the game, and it certainly brings back memories of my childhood. I used to play with the original handheld toy all the time. lol

It seams to be a good game but i need to get used to the shortcut keys. They are: push it key: f5
spin it key: enter
twist it key: right control
bop it key: space
pull it key: left control
flip it key: tab
Also these keys work in the main menu in the following way.
push it: swich themes
spin it: send score to the web
twist it: swich voices
bop it: start the game
pull it: swich modes
flip it: speak high score

how do you know when your score's been sent? That's my problem; figuring out when the score's been successfully posted.

I didn't get that far yet to be able to send a scor but with their other games it says sending scor please wait and then it will say if the scor was posted or not.

And by the way if anyone find out how we can enter the ping pong bonus game it would be nice.

I just got the game; one problem, I don't have a right control key. I'm not sure there's a way to remap these things.

That could be a good suggestion to the developers. Maybe you can use the audiogames message boards. They visit them often and reply to questions about their games.

Hey, I don't really know if this would be best asked here or somewhere else, but since I wrote to the support e-mail address at Light Tech Interactive and got no response, I'll try here and see if anyone can solve this one. The first day I downloaded Bop It Ultimate, it played perfectly fine, absolutely no problems at all. Then, yesterday, without me even doing a single thing at all, I loaded up the game, and after hearing the Light Tech Interactive logo sound and the Bop It Ultimate sound at the beginning of the game, a dialogue box popped up and I got the following criptic error message I don't know how to fix.
bop it ultimate
Run-time error '5':
Invalid procedure call or argument
OK
Sometimes the game plays sometimes it doesn't. Even stranger, it only seems to start properly if i first have JAWS running, and then close JAWS after it starts. If I unload JAWS, and then try to run the game, that's when the error message comes up most of the time. Note that I've uninstalled and re-installed the game a few times with the same exact results. If anyone has any idea of how to solve this or where I can go to get a response from the Light Tech Interactive guys I'd appreciate it. This is an awesome game and I'd love to keep playing it!

I don't quite understand. Do you have the game downloaded and installed? If so, press one of the control keys to skip the light tech interactive logo and wait until the main menu shows up. To start the game, just press the spacebar.

is the game free?

Post 15 by Ginny Weasley (Veteran Zoner) on Tuesday, 18-Dec-2007 10:07:53

It's free. When I installed it though my virus scan popped up saying the file had a virus on it and it deleted it. All of the other games work

Do you have to install anything else before you can install the game like you do for some games like this>

Will this game work with Windows Vista? I know someone that tried to get it to work, but they couldn't, so that's why I'm wondering, if anyone has managed to get it to work with Vista.

A few answers to questions:
The score doesnt post because according to the light tech people you have to have 50 or more points. This is so people dont keep posting scores like 3, 4, etc.

To enter the bonus game (i dont understand how to play though):
Once you're at 100 points press f5.

unfortunately, runtime errors are indeed cryptic. It looks like that was done in some form of high programming language which you'd either have to look it up on some sort of reference or just wait for any kind of response. As for remapping, if there are any .cfg, .ini or the like you could use notepad to do such edits to the configuration of the came. i don't have a right control key either.
